French heavy metal band Gojira will be going on a North American tour this summer with fellow metal heads Oni and Pallbearer. They will begin their tour in Berkeley at the University’s theater and come to an end about two weeks later in Saskatoon Canada. The group just went on a tour earlier this year, with Opeth and Devin Townsend Project as supporting acts, through the United States and killed their performances.
Within the last year, Gojira has released several music videos for “Silvera” and “Low Lands,” two songs from their most recent album called Magma. After binge watching those couple songs, take listen to a few more of their hit tracks from the album “Stranded,” and “The Shooting Star.” Magma is Gojira’s sixth studio album, and their most successful LP yet. It was produced by Joe Duplantier, mixed by Johann Meyer, and mastered by Ted Jensen. In its first week after being released, the album sold 17,000 copies and landed itself on the Billboard 200 list at number 24.
