Roger Waters, who’s expected to release his new album Is This The Life We Really Want , has recently released new music video for the song “The Last Refugee”. According to Stereogum, this album will be the first in almost 25 years.
This video is a work with Sean Evans, and shows two women who are dancing in empty rooms and the emotions they express through it. Both of these women have contrasting lives, as one is safe and well and the other one is going through many struggles, one is dancing in a messy room while the other one is dancing in cleaner room, etc. In the end , one of the women visit a beach where a doll is found near the ocean.
The song’s tune itself is a slow soft beat song with the artist singing in a slow constant voice, with no big rise in vocals throughout the song. The music video can be watched below.
