Wayhome Festival Is Offering Free Tickets To Fyre Festival Ticketholders

Wayhome Festival, who’ve announced their 2017 lineup, has made plans to give free tickets for its events for those who are holding tickets for the Fyre Festival.

The Fyre Festival has been going through many issues such as the recent employee pay situation and the many lawsuits that the owners have dealt with. With these issues, the festival has been able to give festival goers the best experiences and Wayhome Festival has stated that they’re ready to give this missing experience.

According to Consequence of Sound, the festival had released a satement saying “We will honour each ticket bought to the cancelled 2017 FYRE Festival with one free General Admission full-weekend ticket to WayHome 2017,” it reads, continuing with “At WayHome we cannot promise swimming adventures with pigs or fancy yachts, but we can help to fill a void & provide an experience to those who were unable to have the time-of-their-life at FYRE.”

The founders of Wayhome Festival have done this action before. In 2012 when the Capital Hoedown Country Music Fest in Ottawa was canceled, the Wayhome festival came and offered the same plan to give free tickets to those who’ve already made the purchases.

Rather than having the lineup set up by the Fyre Festival, which includes Major Lazer, Blink-182 and Disclosure, this festival will have the lineup, which includes Frank Ocean, Flume and Justice.
