Zane Lowe is an international sensation. What he’s currently doing with Apple Music is basically unparalleled to anything that’s out there. What he does on his show called Beats 1 is spin what you’d come to expect from a typical radio show and completely shake it up, creating a new medium for music fans all over the world. In fact, Beats 1 is not really a radio station at all, which Zane wants to be very clear on. Beats 1 streams new albums and invites artists to come in and talk about everything music. Those artists will even play their own playlists. It’s all about creating an energy, being more interactive than a typical radio station, and bringing in artists who can bring in a unique flavor and do something different.
