Former drummer and vocalist of the Beatles, Ringo Starr, is coming to town on Halloween and bringing his super-group with him. Starr formed his All Starr band in 1989 after taking a break from his solo career. With the band performing for more than twenty years, there has been twelve different variations of the band containing different musicians and guests on the tour. Over the two decades, the band has had a wide variety of musicians such as Richard Marx, Sheila E., Billy Preston, Joe Walsh and many more. To name just a few of the guests that have come on tour as well are Bruce Springsteen, Slash, Stevie Nicks and Paul McCartney
Starr has released 18 solo studio albums since the breakup of the Beatles in 1970. Postcards from Paradise is his most recent album that was released in 2015. More recently, Starr debuted a new song and video in September 2016 for the International Day of Peace, “Now the Time Has Come.” Starr made this single available for free download on January 20, 2017, when President Trump was inaugurated. The All Starr Band doesn’t release new music, but they have done live albums in the past.
Fans who attend this special night with Ringo Starr and His All Starr Band are sure in for a treat! Starr will be performing hits from his career with the Beatles as well as his solo career. On top of that, the band members and guests will also perform hits from their own careers.
