Cornelius Announces First New Album in 11 Years Mellow Waves For June 2017 Release and Unveils New Video For “If You’re Here”

Cornelius announces a new album Mellow Waves, after eleven years of no activity, due on July 21st on Rostrum Records. Along with the announcement of a new album, the artist has also released a new video for “If You’re Here”.

According to Stereogum, this opening track has a chilled out and pretty composition as the video was directed by Koichiro Tsujikawa. The single will be out in Japan at the end of June and will be out worldwide in July. The video included many items floating around, and disintegrating into particles only to form again in a repetitive pattern, with the calming instrumental beats. The video is shown below.

The album contains ten songs, and follows the 2006 album Sensuous. During this time period, the artist was releasing a number of remix albums worked with film and TV scores. The track list for the album is listed below.
