The Nashville brothers that make up JEFF The Brotherhood have been making tunes ever since they were little. Being the sons of singer-songwriter, Robert Ellis Orrall, they have always been around music. Jake and Jamin Orrall started JEFF The Brotherhood in 2001 when they were still in high school. They moved to Chicago to further the band, but eventually returned to Nashville when Jamin had dropped out of college in Chicago.
JEFF The Brotherhood’s music are under the spotlight of being psychedelic-garage rock with a little hint of punk. Over the years, they have released ten studio albums. Their latest album, Zone, was out in 2016. Consequence of Sound’s review for Zone stated, “JEFF The Brotherhood are just funneling weirdness through a different musical schism.”
The brothers have been touring consistently for the past ten years, which is pretty impressive. Over the last two years, they have played over 400 shows. The duo will be off on a short tour starting at the end of May until the end of July.
