The Meadows Festival Announces 2017 Lineup Featuring Gorillaz, Nas and Jay-Z

The curators who brought you the Governers Ball are bringing back the Meadows Festival for the second time, and this year the lineup looks wild. The three day festival’s headliners include the Gorillaz, Nas, and Jay-Z, and M.I.A. Other just as notable artists set to peform at the festival are the Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Future, Run the Jewels, Weezer, Migos, Action Bronson, Blood Orange, Broken Social Scene, Sky Ferreira, Big Boi, TV on the Radio, Tegan and Sara, and Joey Bada$$. For the second year in a row, the festival will take place at Citi Field in Queens, New York on Sept. 15-17. Last year during Meadows, Kanye West had to abrubtly finsih his set when he recieved news about his wife, Kim Kardashian, being robbed and held at gunpoint in Paris. Another headliner was supposed to be the Weeknd, but he dropped out last minute and was replaced by rapper J.Cole. Other headliners last year included Chance the Rapper, Kygo, the 1975, Bryson Tiller and Cage the Elephant.

Tickets will go on sale on Wednesday, May 10 on their website and start at $275 for Early Bird GA then go up to $305 for the regular tickets. Find other useful information and check out last year’s music/art instillations on their webstie here.
