The Strumbellas are currently on an impressive international tour and will be in Chicago for two nights on October 19-20^th at Thalia Hall.  The tour began in summer 2016 and wraps up ater this year; at which point the group will have played throughout North America, Europe and Australia.  The festival fixtures will also be at Bonnaroo and Governor’s Ball this summer.

Lindsay, Ontario natives Simon Ward, Jeremy Drury, Jon Hembrey and Darryl James formed the group in 2008; Isabel Ritchie and David Ritter joined after answering a Craigslist ad.  The musicians have a unique sound that is a soothing blend of rock, country, indie and folk.    Their hit single “Spirits” reached the top of the Billboard Alternative Songs chart last May and was popular throughout their home country.
