After the tough year they had last year fans are excited because its almost time for the next edition of the Music Tastes Good Festival. According to BROOKLYN VEGAN, the festival will be taking place September 30th-October 1st in Marina Green Park, it will feature artists such as Ween, Sleater-Kinney, Big Freedia, Charles Bradley among many others. Last the festival did not end on a high note. Founder of the Music Taste Good festival, Josh Fischel , unfortunately passed away a week later after festival because of liver disease.

In honor of its founder, the festival will continue on in Long Beach CA continuing to separate themselves from other festivals by showcasing acts fans don’t often get a chance to see live. Earlier this year, the festival chose to promote in a unique way by throwing their own party during SXSW. Some of the acts performing this year have been somewhat active earlier in the year.

Dr. Octagon released an old unreleased song titled “Redeye” much to the excitement of old school hip-hop fans. This year Joyce Manor performed at the Mohawk to a crowd of exciting fans who were eager to see them after they released their new album.
