Not many rock bands can say they are more creative than Coheed & Cambria. Since 1995, Coheed & Cambria have dazzled the world with their use of unique album covers and catchy lyrics to showcase their talent. The band is also known for their graphic novels based on their albums. Coheed & Cambria has released over 7 albums and a few music videos. Coheed & Cambria will be performing at The Fillmore next week on their latest tour. The band is currently signed with Sony Records.
Even though the band formed in 1995, Coheed & Cambria didn’t release their debut album until 2002. After the release, the band headlined their first tour in the US as well as appearing at Vans Warped Tour. The group toured with various rock bands before getting back in the studio to record their second album. In October 2003, Coheed & Cambria released their second album, In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3 on Vision Records. The album received great reviews from various music outlets. The band went on to records a few more albums with each one shattering records.
One of their most successful albums, Good Apollo Volume One, sold more than 1 million copies in the US alone. The album debuted at number 7 on Billboard charts. After taking a break from touring, the band returned to touring in 2009 in support of their fourth album. Coheed & Cambria have been described as mixing heavy music, pop, and post-hardcore into their music. Check them out when they come to Philly!
