Linkin Park Announces Summer 2017 Tour Dates

Linkin Park announced they will be going on a North American tour with special guest Machine Gun Kelly. Produced by Live Nation, the “One More Light” world tour was announced via Genius, a first for both the genre-defying band and the lyric annotation platform. The tour kicks off July 27 in Boston, Massachusetts at the Xfinity Center.

In an effort to put curtail scalpers and bots and make sure fans will have the first access to tickets The Linkin Park presale will utilize the Ticketmaster Verified Fan platform to try and ensure fans are competing against other fans for tickets, not software. The more fans participate, the higher spot they will have in line for access to tickets. Linkin Park fan club members are given priority, but anyone can work their way to the top.

$1.00 from every full priced ticket sold on the tour will benefit Music For Relief, the charity foundation LINKIN PARK founded in 2005 to aid survivors of natural disasters and environmental protection. Pre-sale begins May 9. Fans and LPU members can register for the tour pre-sale right now at presale.linkinpark.com. General on-sale is set for May 12.

The band is also releasing its highly anticipated seventh studio album, One More Light, on May 19 via Warner Bros. Records. According to the press release, One More Light is their most personal album to date. Built on the stories of “six voices coming clean about their lives and struggles, as if it were the first time. One More Light isn’t bigger, louder, or more avant-garde — it’s more human.”
