The loss of Prince is still lingering in the hearts of everbody who cherished him, and the family is looking to air their version of the experience on national television. The estate even filed a lawsuit so they could delay the release of the upcoming and highly anticipated Deliverance EP, so they could air it first on their reality television show. No network companies have picked up the idea so far, but if it ever reached the light of day it would “focus on how their lives have changed since he died.” The family sued George “Ian” Boxill, a contributor to Deliverance, but he’s not letting go without a fight.
A reissue of Prince’s album Purple Rain is being released and will feature new songs that even the most die hard Prince song hasn’t heard yet.
In April more information regarding Prince’s death has been revealed, through an unsealed Paisley Park warrent.
Universial is currently tied up in court with the Prince Estate also, after they attempted to pull out of a $30 million deal.
