DJ Shadow has announced that he is continuing the run of his successful electronic album, The Mountain Will Fall, with brand new tour dates. Shadow took a break from performing his hit album when he recently teamed up with the rapper, Nas, to create a brand new song for the hit HBO show, Silicon Valley. That song, “Systematic,” was a great break for an opportunity to collaborate with Nas on an original song that premiered on Silicon Valley’s season 4 premiere episode. Now that the song is complete and released, it looks like it’s time for Shadow to get back on the road.
The Mountain Will Fall is Shadow’s first studio album since 2011’s The Less You Know The Better, and is one of his best yet. He’s continuing the tour, planning to hit many of the major cities like Chicago, Denver, Seattle, Austin, Salt Lake City, Memphis and Boston, all throughout July. Before and after the U.S dates, he will be in Asia, Europe and Australia. As one of the most respected and masterful electronic producers and DJs in the world, fans are excited to see such an extensive tour date list. All electronic fans should go see Shadow perform live to see how a true DJ can take an audience on a sonic journey. While everyone is excited to see what new project he might possibly be planning up his sleeves, it’s great to see Shadow full enjoy performing his first album in 5 years all across the world. Check out the fully released scheduled tour dates below.
