Danish rock band Mew have announced a summer 2017 tour in support of their just-released new album Visuals. The tour, which shares a name with the new LP, will take place during the month of August and traverse North America. It all kicks off with a show at the Bowery Ballroom in New York City on August 3rd and concludes on the other side of the country in Los Angeles at the El Rey Theatre August 26.
Visuals, which came out today on PIAS, is the band’s seventh album. However, it marks milestone for the band because it is their first since the departure of Bo Madsen in 2015. Despite the change, the early returns from Visuals are strong, as evidenced by singles like “Carry Me To Safety” and “Twist Quest.”
