There’s no doubt Little Dragon are one of the most creative electronic, or any genre for that matter, bands that are out right now. Their sound and vision always push boundaries and influence the music community around them. Their new video for the track, “Celebrate,” only helps to solidify that point.
The new video for the Season High track is nothing short of unusual, and features a mixture of trippy short clips. Strange visual effects, band members having slime squirted on them by a piñata, interpretive dance by frontwoman Yukimi Nagano, and random panoramas of an unknown city all create a strange and engaging mixture of visuals to go along with the 80’s-tinged track. There’s also a killer guitar solo at the end, something you don’t hear quite as often these days.
