Rock band Badflower is one of the best up and coming bands in the industry. Since 2013, Badflower has played over 100 shows all over the US. With origins on the west coast, Badflower is to be a breath of fresh air from all the mainstream music. Badflower brings their unique sound to the Underground Arts next month. Badflower released their debut EP, Temper in 2016. The band is currently signed with Republic Records.
Badflower consists of Josh Katz, Joey Morrow, Alex Espiritu, and Anthony Sonetti. The band started to gain attention after appearing on various local radio stations. In early March, Badflower released their debut single “Soap” while the music video was released by Loudwire Magazine the same day. Badflower opened for Australian pop duo The Veronicas in Europe. The two bands sold out various shows on their tour. In 2013, Badflower performed at SXSW upon returning home to the US. The band started to work on their self-produced album in early March while waiting on legal issues to settle. The band released their first single “Animal” off their upcoming EP in September 2016. Badflower preformed all across the US in support of the single with Billy Talent.
While on tour the band’s music spread all across the radio waves. “Animal” was played regularly on the radio while climbing higher in the charts. After the release of Temper, the album was among the best rock albums of 2016 on iTunes. “Animal” reached number 38 on Billboard Top 40 Mainstream Rock Chart in 2016 and still continues to be a favorite.
