West Coast psychedelic pop band Sir Sly have just released a new music video for their single “High” in anticipation for their upcoming album. The video takes quite a different approach with a trippy vibe throughout the entire production, highlighting the off-kilter pop sounds of the song. The band’s singer Landon Jacobs described the song as an upbeat anthem about “ego death.” “High” is currently on the top 15 alternative radio charts, making Sir Sly a band to keep an eye out for in the near future.
The alternative pop band Sir Sly got their started in Los Angeles – the trio is made up of Landon Jacobs, Jason Suwito and Hayden Coplen. The band released their debut single “Ghosts” in 2013 and their debut album You Haunt Me in 2014. The recently toured with another poppy rock and roll group that is making a lot of noise on the alternative scene, The 1975.
