Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 Soundtrack Announced Featuring Sam Cooke, George Harrison, Electric Light Orchestra and More

When the original Guardians of the Galaxy movie came out, it was a huge hit. The soundtrack made it to number 1. even though it was comprised of all previously released music. Now Guardians of the Galaxy pt. 2 is set for release May 5th and Pitchfork has shared that the new soundtrack is in the works as well.

This soundtrack, aptly named Awesome Mix Vol. 2, is going to follow it’s first version by including classics by Fleetwood Mac, Sam Cooke, George Harrison, Electric Light Orchestra, Parliament, Cheap Trick, and a few others. This is also going to feature an original piece called “Guardians Inferno,” written by James Gunn (director of the movie) and voiced by David Hasslehoff.

The album will be released on April 28th but you can get it digitally tomorrow (April 21st). Also check out track-list down below.
