Progressive rock band Haken is on tour and set to stop in Chicago at the Bottom Lounge on September 23rd. The group has an impressive lineup of shows on their website where they promote their music and merchandise.
The name Haken originates from their school days and was the name of a fictional character they made up while drunk and/or high. Formed in London in 2007, the metal band has released four albums over the years as well as one EP. Their latest album, Affinity, released in 2016, has received positive reviews from listeners. The record follows up Aquarius (2010), Visions (2011), and The Mountain (2013). While the band hasn’t received a lot of media attention over the years, they have an active microsite that is a great way of promotion in itself. Fans can get to know the members and stay up to date on their whereabouts.
Haken will be at Bottom Lounge on September 23rd celebrating 10 years as a band- ticket info below!
