Finally some questions are being answered one year after the music industry lost music legend Prince, one of the greatest artitst of our time. After getting search warrent for the late singer’s Paisley Park home, which was performed one week following Prince’s death, officials found several pharmaceutical prescriptions hidden thorughout the various rooms. Some were even hidden using regular vitamin bottles, like Ondansetron Hydrochloride which is a drug that helps with opiate withdrawl that was found inside a vitimin D bottle.
The search warrent claimed that investigators were “made aware by witnesses that were interviewed, that Prince recently had a history of going through withdrawals, which are believed to be the result of the abuse of prescription medicine.”
Additional unidentified substances were found next to a note with handwritten lyrics to “U Got The Look” inside of a suitecase with the name “Peter Bravestrong” — an alternate identity Prince often used. Two people close to Prince, his physician Dr. Michael Schulenberg and his bodyguard/assistant Kirk Johnson both shamefully willingly confessed to enabling the artist with substances. They weren’t able to find out how he got his hands on the drug that killed him, Fentanyl, and remains in an ongoing investigation since Prince supposedly wasn’t prescribed the drug. Johnson aditted that Prince had struggled with addiction and withdrawl syptomps prior to his unfortunate passing.
Prince’s Paisely Park estate is supposed to be turned into a tribute museum, so fans and loved ones can have timeless momento of the iconic artist. A previously unreleased track recently dropped to the public entitled “Moonbeam Levels” which you can listen to here.
