Young Statues @ Boots and Saddles 4/28

American emo band Young Statues is performing in their hometown of Philadelphia next week when they play at Boots and Saddle. Since their early beginnings, Young Statues has released two studio albums and two EPs. The band is currently signed to Run For Cover records.

Young Statues first formed in 2010 when a handful of songs were released. After such a huge response, the group was formed to release more music. Young Statues released their self-titled album back in 2011 to much praise. The band used their passion for music to create a unique sound. Young Statues are well on their way to becoming a great rising star in the music industry. In 2012, Young Statues released their four track EP which consist of covers. The EP featured popular songs from New Order, Ryan Adams, Billy Bragg, and The Magnetic Fields.

In 2013 Young Statues released another EP “Age Isn’t Ours”.  The EP was produced by Ace Enders, lead singer of The Early November. While in between recording, Young Statues toured across the U.S. playing a few shows at a time. If you’re in town, check out Young Statues at Boots and Saddles.
