Famed actor and up and coming R&B singer Raleigh Ritchie, aka Jacob Anderson, aka Game of Thrones’ Grey Worm, is marching his way into San Francisco! He will be performing at the Rickshaw Stop on May 9th.
Ritchie may be best known for his kickass role as Grey Worm in The Game of Thrones, but his musical game deserves just as much cred. Ritchie started performing back in 2006 with his appearances on a Typesun song and a Plan B song. Then, once signed by Columbia he dropped a three song EP entitled The Middle Child in 2013 for his debut. Recently, the singer released his debut full length album You’re A Man Now, Boy in 2016. That album has racked up hits on the songs Coward, Stronger Than Ever, Bloodsport ‘15, and The Greatest. Other than that the singer has dropped two other EPs, 2014’s Black and Blue Point Two which he collabed with Hip Hop Collective The Internet and 2016’s Mind The Gap. Those two EPs are famed for their songs Liability, Unicorn Loev, Chased, and Stay Inside. Ritchie’s style of music is clearly British, but his music translates incredibly well in other music scenes. His songs are a mix of him dropping a few rap hooks along with his vocals.
Fans of Frank Ocean, The Internet, and Sinead Harnett will be down for this show. Maybe you don’t know Ritchie as a singer, but know him as Grey Worm? Hit click and check him out, prices are incredibly reasonable! Ritchie is gonna be on my Spotify playlist long after this concert, so my dudes, be like me and check him out!
