Summerfest has recently announced its huge 2017 lineup for the 50th annual festival in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, presented by American Family Insurance. The festival will be held on the shores of Lake Michigan at Henry Maier Festival Park and includes 12 different stages. This year’s lineup offers 800 acts from diverse genres, with headliners playing at the American Family Insurance Ampitheater. This will include the Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Chainsmokers, Dierks Bentley, Future and many more. View the full lineup below.

Summerfest originated in 1968 in Milwaukee to include 35 separate locations in the downtown area. Since then, it has grown immensely to take over the Henry Maier Festival Park for two separate weekends out of the year. The festival grounds include restaurants, restrooms, parking and a box office. Since 1999, the festival has been known as “The World’s Largest Music Festival” after winning the title through the Guinness Book of World Records. It attracts between 800,000 to 900,000 people each year.

This year, the headliners performing at the American Family Insurance Ampitheater are joining Summerfest as part of the Milwaukee stops on separate tours, such as Willie Nelson and Bob Dylan through the Outlaw Music Festival Tour and Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers. Tickets are available online for different Summerfest pass options, and separate tickets are also available to see the headliners perform at the American Family Insurance Ampitheater.
