The notoriously reclusive industrial musician Drew McDowall announced the release of his second solo album after years playing with his acid house music group Psychic TV and the English experimental music group, Coil. Generally thought of as a duo, Coil has included integral contributions from players like McDowall and made lasting impressions on the rise of industrial music.
McDowall joined the group in the mid-‘90s and contributed his considerable production talent to many of their projects including: A Thousand Lights in a Darkened Room, Time Machines, Astral Disaster, and the Nine Inch Nails remixes, amongst other essential recordings. He has since formed the group Compound Eye with Tres Warren of Psychic Ills and contributed to the odd LP and remix projects including the Outer Space project of John Elliot of Emeralds.
