From the animated film Leap! soundtrack has come Carly Rae Jepsen’s new song “Cut to the Feeling,” a fun and energetic track that matches the sounds from her most recent album released in 2015. The track opens with:

I had a dream, or was it real?
We crossed the line and it was on
Can’t make it stop, give me all you got

The song continues with a short tid-bit from the Leap!, a film made abroad and originally entitled Ballerina. Catch the entire two minute and fifty-six second track.

The Canadian singer’s most recent album Emotion was released on June 24, 2015 following the major success of her 2012 track “Call Me Maybe.” Last year the singer released a new music video for “Boy Problems” and featured alongside Blood Orange in their “Better than Me” video. She also headlined at the Petty Fest with Cage the Elephant and Jakob Dylan.

Carly Rae Jepsen has been a part of Target’s new campaign with Lil’ Yachty, and can be heard or even seen in several of the corporation’s newest commercials.
