Young the Giant will be performing at Huntington Bank Pavilion on Northerly Island in Chicago on September 9th. Cold War Kids will join them on the August and September leg of their Home of the Strange Tour.
The rock group from Irvine, California released their third studio album Home of the Strange in August of last year. Their tour schedule has them performing almost every other night through the end of September. Their first two albums Young the Giant and Mind over Matter spawned hits like “My Body” in 2011, “Apartment” in 2012 and “Crystallized” in 2013. The band’s unique sound that explores the softer side of rock makes every song sound like a hit.
I was able to see Young the Giant in November when the played at Aragon Ballroom. The show was amazing and their energy and connection to the crowd can’t be beat. The Cubs had just won the World Series and the city was really feeling itself and they closed the show with R Kelly’s “Ignition Remix”. I will definitely be at this next show – ticket info below!
