Roosevelt @ The Foundry 6/01

The dream pop singer Roosevelt is coming to The Foundry this summer. After the release of his latest album, Roosevelt is on his way to becoming one of the best singers of this generation. His mixture of hot beats with dreamlike singing makes for a perfect album. The German-born singer released his debut self-titled studio album earlier last year.

After releasing his debut EP Elliot in 2013, Roosevelt released his popular single Hold On/Night Moves later that same year. The EP struck fans and newcomers right in the heart. Aside from his own music, Roosevelt has been known to remix other popular bands like Glass Animals. The same year, Roosevelt signed with Greco-Roman label. Roosevelt is also a successful DJ, performing at various clubs and festivals. Roosevelt talked about his debut album being something, “people should look forward to”. In April of 2016, Roosevelt announced the release date for his new album.

Roosevelt is on the right track. His music is best listened to when driving in the countryside and the lights are going down. The music he makes captures you from start to finish without letting you go. Pick up his debut album and check out his show in town.
