MusicFestNW Presents Project Pabst Portland Announces 2017 Lineup Featuring Iggy Pop, Die Antwoord and Beck

MusicFestNW Presents Project Pabst Portland has just released its 2017 lineup, which includes big names such as Iggy Pop, Father John Misty, Die Antwoord and Nas. The festival will be held August 26 and 27 at Tom McCall Waterfront Park in Portland, Oregon. View the full lineup below:

The Project Pabst festival is produced by Superfly and sponsored by Pabst Brewing Company and Stubhub, and was created in 2014. Last year’s 2016 festival was expanded to include locations in Denver, Philadelphia and Atlanta as well as Portland, and the 2017 festival will also incorporate the same locations. The Denver Project Pabst festival will be held May 20, and the lineup includes Phantogram, Danny Brown, Twin Peaks and Ice Cube, among others. The Atlanta and Philadelphia location lineups are yet to be announced.

Last year’s lineup at the Portland location included Violent Femmes, Fidlar, Metz and Charles Bradley.

The festival is a rain or shine event, accessible by bus, car, bike or foot. Several items are prohibited from the festival, such as professional cameras, chairs, umbrellas, pets and musical instruments. There will be food trucks, water, PBR and soft drinks available on site, and the event is restricted to attendees 21 and up. Project Pabst has stated that it offers food and beer at “non-festival” prices, and also incorporates art and hands-on interactive elements into the festival. Attendees will be able to experience old and new video games as well as on-the-spot vinyl pressings.

Tickets for the Portland location, which sold out in 2016, are available through the links below beginning this Friday, April 7. Early bird tickets are available with limited availability at $55 for single days and $85 for the full weekend. Once early bird tickets are gone, tickets will be $65 for a single day and $99 for the full weekend. For more information, visit the festival website.
