It was a quaint and intimate show on Sunday night in Baltimore, MD on when Waxahatchee and Kevin Morby took the stage together and graced audiences with a duet of Everclear’s track “Santa Monica,” a hit record released in 1995. Waxahatchee, whose real name is Katie Crutchfield, took to her official Twitter to post footage of the performance and captioned it with an ode to experience, saying “the best way to end this amazing tour”. The Baltimore show marks the close to a successful American tour with the duo, hitting New Jersey just days prior. The tour is just ahead of new music from both Waxahatchee and Kevin Morby, however only Morby has announced a set date so far. Not to worry Waxahatchee fans, as she assured fans she’d be releasing music within the next year. The last time Morby released a new album was in April of last year, with Singing Saw. Waxahatchee also released an early recordings reissue project last year in June. Kevin Morby has another upcoming show on the east coast, at the Bowery Ballroom in New York on May 24.
