Hans Zimmer Announces Spring 2017 Tour Dates

German composer and record producer Hans Zimmer has announced upcoming dates for his massive world tour beginning this spring. In April, Hans Zimmer will kick off his first leg of the tour in Los Angeles at the Microsoft Theater, and will continue to travel the globe making stops in France, Australia, Germany. Finally in early August, Zimmer will make his way back to southern California, ending the tour in San Diego at the Viejas Arena. Fans can expect “reimagined” versions of sections from the composer’s various soundtracks for major movie director Christopher Nolan, who directed films like The Dark Knight and Inception. Click below for the long list of cities Zimmer will be performing in these next few months along with ticketing purchasing information.

Not included in the list is his highly anticipated performance at Coachella music festival later this month, and will fall between his west coast shows in the early part of the tour. Last year, the talented artist went on tour alongside English singer/songwriter Johnny Marr.

Mixing music with film, Hans Zimmer and Marr were on the collaboration team next to Pharrell, Dave Stewart, and Mike Einziger for the Amazing Spider-man 2 score, and obviously did good job if you’ve seen any part of that movie. You can click here to listen to the Dark Knight Rises soundtrack in which Zimmer produced himself.

McKenzie Dillon: University of Nevada, Reno Alumna. I graduated with a major in writing and a minor in journalism. I enjoy reading, writing, and listening to music of course. I was raised in the bay area, and am thrilled to be living back in California. Catch me at your local music festival, because there's nothing better than laying back in the grass and listening to your favorite bands or discovering new ones.
