Lamb Of God Announces Extra Side Shows To Spring 2017 Tour Dates

Lamb of God is doing a monster North American tour and just added off-date shows to fill in the gaps and make sure everyone gets chance to come out and witness the carnage the band is known to display! The tour that holds Slayer headlining and Lamb of God and Behemoth supporting on the bill already has a month long tour set and still the Lamb of God band mates think there is more shows to be had. The four extra tour dates will have Lamb of God headline and Behemoth will be direct support. So the lucky towns of Grand Rapids, Montreal, St. Louis and Salt Lake City will be getting visit from the newly added tour.

The group LoG has seen extreme success since 2000 when they released New American Gospel Album, which launched them into a heavy touring cycle that only expanded their fame. The next two years were spent preaching what they called “pure American death metal.” Finally the third year from their first album they began sporadically recording their sophomore release between shows with the legendary metal god Devin Townsend. As the Palaces Burn was finally released in 2003 with Ashes of the Wake following shortly in 2004. Ashes was the realization of all their hard work, charting and being critically well received, it allowed them a full year of touring their music on a large scale. From this point their career was cemented and all other releases were extremely well received. Their fan base was large enough for their label Epic to successful release a 3 disc set of music titled Hourglass that featured hits, indie remakes and a full disc of live performance and rarities. Since they have continued to add to their legacy with two new albums and small set releases including their recent Duke EP. This tour will be another addition to their list of Accomplishments.
