WATCH: Nick Cave And The Bad Seeds Releases New Video for “Steve McQueen”

Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds, who’s currently taking a break from the winter tour, has recently released their music video for “Steven McQueen”. This music video will also be apart of the documentary One More Than With Feeling.

According to the Rolling Stone, the film was directed by Andrew Dominick and has a black and white theme. The video, that can be watched below, starts off with Nick sitting down and having a narration play of a poem as the band is playing a tune. Throughout the poetry narration, the video shows the practice and production process of the band. In this video, the band performs “Girl In Ember” from the Skeleton Tree.

In this poem, called “Steven McQueen”, the artist recites “I’m a housefly called ‘God,’ and I don’t give a fuck/ Here I come up the elevator, 60 floors, hoping I don’t get stuck/ And everyone out here does mean, and everyone out here does pain/ But someone’s got to sing new stars, and someone’s got to sing the rain.”
