Geoff Barrow and Ben Salisbury have recently started a collaboration to create the new score for Free Fire, a movie directed by Ben Wheatley and surrounds the plot of 70’s Boston.
Geoff Barrow, who has auctioned one day studio session for cancer research, is a music producer, composer and also a member of the band Portishead. Ben Salisbury is a composer who has arranged music with many bands. Both have been long time collaborators on many projects such as the Black Mirror Soundtrack and the Ex Machina Soundtrack.
According to Pitchfork, the soundtrack will include songs by John Denver and the Real Kid. Out of the forty-one songs that are on this soundtrack, 17 of the songs are produced by Geoff Barrow and Ben Salisbury.
The soundtrack has been released today through Invada/Lakeshore, while the movie will be in theaters on April 21st.
