Just last year, Tegan and Sara had released video for there song “U-turn.” Now they have decided to release a different short film version for fans to enjoy.
In this new short film, directed by Emma Higgins, the premise is a girl training for a dance crew showdown. It turns out that her and her teammates start an argument over the details of the dance and one of the members quit. The other member lashes out in saying that they have to be better if they want to beat the Viper Boys.
When asked about the film the duo said that the idea here was to promote and celebrate classic girl’s crew nostalgia. They wanted to bring light to and honor those crucial friendships that you have when you are young and how they develop and shape you into the person that you are today.
The actual video for the song was released last year but be sure to check it this awesome new video below.
