Schuba’s welcomes Julie Byrne July 20th. The American singer/songwriter just released her second studio album Not Even Happiness early this year.
Not Even Happiness is inspired by the natural beauty which she has experienced whilst leading her nomadic lifestyle. The contemplative spiritual music with hints of love songs has received critical acclaim. Byrne has the ability to of blending folk and new age music with a hint of mysticism which gives her a unique sound.
The songstress’ first album Rooms with Walls and Windows was released in 2014. While fans have waited seemingly forever for the follow up, Byrne explains, “Writing comes from a natural process of change and growth” which helps to explain the longer writing and creation of the album.
