German metal group Rammstein have their sights set on the US and Canada, releasing new dates and venues for the upcoming North American Summer tour. The band will start in Canada on June 23 and finish off in Las Vegas, NV in July with Korn and Stone Sour as supporting acts. There are some rumors swirling around that Rammstein also has more plans to perform with Korn on tour in the near future. They recently announced new footage from their upcoming live film called Rammstein: Paris, a series of video from two concerts the band played in 2012 in Paris that will be released on May 19. Rammstein additionally revealed they were about to be dropping a ton of new music, as they currently have 35 brand new tracks that are close to completion. Guitarist Paul Landers is hyping fans up, ensuring that their new album will be “excellent,” citing their past 6 albums as proof of their ability.
Last year, Rammstein made an appearance as headliners for the Chicago Open Air festival alongside metal icons Slipknot and Disturbed.
