Hip hop artist Big Boi was joined onstage with fellow rapper Killer Mike at a pop up concert hosted by an Atlanta radio station V-103. During the performance, the dynamic duo performed a new song from Big Boi’s upcoming album which featured an additional rap favorite Jeezy who also contributed to the song. Big Boi took to his Instagram to share a short clip of the show, captioning it with “I’m on that new @therealbigboi album & yesterday we did the record at the #V103 pop up concert! This summer gonna be busy I see!!!”
This isn’t the first time the rappers have collaborated with one another, since having worked together on Big Boi’s most recent album Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors. As far as the upcoming album goes, Big Boi has announced its completion so fans are patiently waiting the highly anticipated new drop.
In 2015 Big Boi formed a group with Phantogram and released a new song called “Lights On” that you can listen to yourself here. They also partnered up together and ventured into the gaming realm, dropping a video game called Supergrams.
Just last year Killer Mike dropped his third studio album Run the Jewels III with super group Run the Jewels. The group was aiming for a release in July, but made the official drop five months later in December.
