Rap trio Migos is making their way into the Bay this summer! They will be heading into Mountian View on June 15th and performing at the Shoreline Ampitheatre. The group will be touring on Future’s Nobody Safe Tour with other openers such as Tory Lanez, Kodak Black, and Zoey Dollaz.
Migos is composed of three rappers, Quavo, Takeoff, and Offset, who have been together as a group since 2009.Their rise to fame started back in 2013 with their hit song Versace and from there their songs have been steadily filtering throughout the year on the radio. Their most recent release is their second album Culture which dropped this year. That album is well known for the mega hits Bad and Boujee, T-Shirt, Slippery, and Kelly Price. Like their breakthrough single, those songs have been nonstop played on the radio. Bad and Boujee ended up being the number one single in the U.S when it came out. Previous to that the band had put out a few mixtapes before their successful breakthrough and put out their debut album Yung Rich Nation in 2015. That album’s singles One Time, Pipe It Up, and Just For Tonight. After that album they released two other mixtapes, 2015’s Currency and 2016’s YRN 2. This trio’s music falls under the popular trap music. Their style is successful because of their signature style/sounds, their catchy hooks, and their unique hooks are exactly what their listeners are looking for.
Fans of Rae Sremmurd, Young Thug, and 21 Savage will already be in the know for this show or be down when they learn about it. The lineup for this tour is insane and well worth you taking a small hit in your budget.
