Today companies, tv shows, artists, entertainment in its entirety is constantly lookimng for new ways to promote their brand to as big of an audience as possible. These days social media is an extremely cost effective way to promote. Instead of paying millions, you can hire people for far less to run the official social media page for the brand. According to BLABBERMOUTH, Serj Tankian was able to do this recently when he performed at a Game of Thrones Concert Experience in Los Angeles.
Arguably one of the most succesful television shows in recent memory, Game of Thrones is a television adaptation of a series of novels written by George R. R. Martin. The television series was created by David Benioff and D. B. Weiss. It aired its first episode in 2011 and has been running on HBO ever since. Many fans fell in love with the novel for the same reason that some fell in love with the television series, this is because of the world that it creates for fans to escape and dive into. Filled with several plot lines and characters, the show is beloved by many. It has acted as a career boost for a number of the actors. Sophie Turner starred in the most recent installment in the X Men trilogy as well as Finn Jones starring in the Netflix show Iron Fist, and Jason Mamoa playing the role of Aquaman in the upcoming Justice League and Aquaman solo films.
The System Of A Down member, Serj Tankian, acted as a special guest appearance for fans in attendance at The Forum, located in Inglewood California. Serj sang a rendition of the song “The Rains of Castmere”, which is a fictional song from the series, while scenes from the show played on the screen. The experience is being provided via a 28 city tour that features an orchestra, special effects and spectacular visual played on a large screen for fans to see no matter how close their ticket gets them to the stage.
“In an abstract way, we’re re-creating moments from the show on the stage,” said the concert creator and conductor to Los Angeles Times, “The musical themes are almost characters on their own there’s the Daenerys theme. The Dragon’s theme. The Stark theme. It brings a whole other level of emotion that’s so much more than just us playing songs from the show.”
