Gucci Mane may just be one of the most underrated rappers of our time. most people will say Gucci Mane help make way for the popular trap music genre. Gucci Mane recently released his latest album, The Return of East Atlanta Santa, in 2016. Gucci Mane continues to bring his music to the world. Gucci Mane is coming to the Electric Factory this upcoming April.

Gucci Mane grew up in rough parts of Alabama where music was the only outlet. In 2005, Gucci Mane released his debut album, Trap House. The album gained enough attention to chart in the top 20 spots of the Billboards R&B/Hip Hop Albums. Trap House was released independently by Gucci Mane alone. The following year, Gucci Mane dropped his second album, Hard To Kill with mixed reviews. A few years later, Gucci Mane signed with Warner Bros. Records after his third album and mixtape, Trap-A-Thon and Back To The Trap House. Back To The Trap House featured hit singles like “Lemonade”, “Spotlight”, and “Bingo” with various guest stars. Following his release from jail in 2010, Gucci Mane released The Appeal: Georgia’s Most Wanted mixtape. Gucci Mane’s success continued with the release of his 10th EP, The Return of Mr. Zone 6. The EP debuted at number 18 on Billboards 200.

Gucci Mane has always been known for his hard hitting lyrics with trap style beats. Most of Gucci’s success came from his popular mixtapes. Bringing stars to work with him was never an issue. Donovan Wilkins: Donovan Wilkins is a self-taught photographer and published writer. He lives in Glenside after moving from his hometown of Philadelphia. After studying Liberal Arts at CCP, he decided to focus his time on his writing and photography. In 2016, Donovan completed his first feature-length screenplay, The Coast is Clear. During his career, Donovan worked on a small budget film in Philadelphia as part of a writing team. Since then, he has written various short screenplays.
