Rock in Rio Festival Announces 2017 Lineup Featuring Guns ‘N Roses, Alice Cooper and Niles Rodgers with Chic

The 2017 Rock in Rio lineup was recently announced, including musicians such as Guns ‘N Roses, Alice Cooper, Niles Rodgers with Chic and Lady Gaga, among others, who will perform in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil from September 15 to 24. See below for the full festival lineup.

The Rock in Rio festival originated in Rio de Janeiro in 1985, but has since branched out to include Lisbon, Madrid and Las Vegas. This year, the festival will be held at the Barra Olympic Park, and includes the festival’s “For a Better World” initiative, which encompasses a sustainability plan for the entire event. Past lineups have included Beyonce, Metallica and Bruce Springsteen in 2013; Rihanna, Katy Perry and Elton John in 2015; and Ariana Grande, Korn and Fergie most recently in 2016 at the Lisbon festival.
