Panama Wedding is coming off a huge tour last year. The New York-based synthpop band is heading to the Boots and Saddle this spring. During Panama Wedding’s career, they had released two EPs and a few singles back in 2014. Panama Wedding is currently signed to Glassnote Records.
Panama Wedding is lead by songwriter and lead singer Peter Kirk. Peter Kirk started writing music once he moved to Manhattan. Peter Kirk spent years solo before adding more members. In 2014 after the release of their version of “All of the People”, Panama signed with Glassnote Records. That same year, Panama Wedding released their debut EP, Parallel Play. The EP gained a lot of attention and debuted at number 22 on the Billboard Top Heatseekers chart. As Panama Wedding gain more fans, their popularity gained as well. Panama Wedding made their live tv debut on Jimmy Kimmel Live performing “All of the People” and “Uma”.
Over the years, Panama Wedding has toured with many great artists. In 2015, Panama Wedding toured with Great Good Fine Ok for a limited show tour. The cities included were Chicago, Washington DC, Boston, and New York City. After a break from music, Panama Wedding went on tour again in the spring of 2016. During the tour, Panama made appearances at various music festivals. Panama Wedding is currently in the studio recording their first studio album. Be sure to check them out when they come to town.
