Electric Fields Announces 2017 Lineup Featuring Frightened Rabbit, The Jesus and Mary Chain and Dizzee Rascal

The Electric Fields Festival has just announced its full lineup for their 2017 outing that is scheduled for the first two days of September. The Line up will host Frightened Rabbit and Dizzee Rascal as their top headliners with bunch of big names to follow as their second round of artists. These include The Jesus and Mary Chain, Band of Horses, Glass Animals and ARAB Strap to name a few. For a full listing of the lineup, see below.

Early Bird and the second tier pricing tickets are both already sold out and the last pricing tier is at 95 pounds, which is about 115.51 US dollars. All ticket pricing will include camping for the festival. You can buy your tickets here.

The thing that makes this festival so unique, other than the talent that they get each year, is the venue that hosts it. The festival ground is on the Queensberry Estate in South West Scotland in a 17th century Drumlanig Castle, one of the most stunning buildings in the UK according to their site. The grounds are made up of miles of beautiful acres of gardens with wildlife that walks freely with you. Festival goers are encouraged to explore Scottish culture at on of Britain’s grandest castles.

Ryan Fricke: Music is my therapy, which I could not function without. I am currently finishing my senior year a Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers, Florida with a Journalism major and a Creative Writing Minor. I first realized I wanted to become a Music Journalist the minute I learned that I could get paid to do the two things I love most, writing and listening to music. I have yet to decide which I am more infatuated with but for the time being I will happily house them to their stalemate. My plans after graduation are unclear but I hope to further gain experience in this profession.
