ZZ TOP @ The Fillmore 3/17

Serving Classic longevity and undying charisma since 1969.

When you’ve been rocking crowds since 1969, you know you’re doing something right.

ZZ Top has been creating and performing their growling guitar riffs and signature blues sound since then and they appear to be going strong with having the added distinction of being one of the few touring bands to have its original line-up of members since inception.

After 45 years together, seven Billboard Top 10 albums, multiple Platinum certifications and an induction into the prestigious Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, ZZ Top has stayed true to the formula that first captivated their fanbase – and it’s not just the beards.

Guitar aficionados and old souls living in young bodies still flock to see the trio perform live to this day.  With no signs of slowing down, their zest and energy on stage is as vibrant and intoxicating as it was back in the early decades where acid, pot and other substances reigned supreme.

Today, ZZ Top has earned an accolade few can claim: Versatility.  The band has managed to evolve and transition between the decades in a manner that seems effortless and  automatic. They still pack stadiums and create awesome concert experiences that win over new audiences show after show.

Currently on The Tonnage Tour, “that little ol’ band from Texas” will be making a stop at the Fillmore Miami Beach on March 17 before they hop the pond and begin their European leg.  This tour promotes their latest release: Live: Greatest Hits From Around the World, make sure you catch this one when they come through.
