Indie rock singer Mac Demarco is coming to the Bay this Fall! He will be playing the Greek Theatre in September 8th, a perfect treat for the beginning of Fall. Beforehand he will be touring North America and then later making stops all over Europe.
Mac Demarco hit the indie scene back in 2008 and have been gaining fame ever since. His recognizable indie-rock style of music is a hit for festivals or just cruising. Recently this year, he dropped an announcement that his third studio album This Old Dog will be available in May. His most recent album release was back in 2014 with Salad Days. Notable songs from that album include Chamber of Reflections, Salad Days, and Let Her Go. Demarco has also released a demo last year titled Another (Demo) One which had the hits Another One, The Way You’d Love Her, and No Other Heart. Previous to that he released his debut album 2 in 2012, has dropped four other demos, another Mini-LP, and a couple EPs. His other notable songs include My Old Man, This Old Dog, Ode to Viceroy, Blue Bloy, Passing Out Pieces, and Freaking Out the Neighborhood. Mac Demarco’s musical vibes are a solid choice for long car rides, chill concerts, or any time you need some easy listening. He keeps his sound recognizable with his John Lennon like voice, soft guitar, and use of flat drums.
Fans of Best Coast, Tame Impala, and Beach Fossils will be into Demarco’s show and content. Check out this dude and his band because they offer an experience you’re not gonna wanna miss. So, get your wallets ready my dudes cause this show is gonna be sweet.
