Taylor Bennett @ The Foundry 4/4

Taylor Bennett, the brother of independent rapper Chance The Rapper, stops by The Foundry next month. Taylor Bennett much like his brother developed a different style of rap. Taylor released his first free studio album, Broad Shoulders, in December 2015. Taylor Bennett has released a few mixtapes during his career as well.

Taylor Bennett grew up in the worst part of Chicago, West Chatham. Among all the crime and drugs, Taylor Bennett found an outlet for his emotions. Taylor started rapping with his brother while still in high school. While still in high school, Taylor released his first mixtape, The Taylor Bennett Show, in 2013. The album was released freely to the public, which received mixed reviews. Taylor and Chance have always agreed to build their own fanbase before working together. On Taylor’s first studio album, Board Shoulders, Chance appeared in a song with Taylor. Taylor Bennett seems to be on the same path to greatness as his brother.

As Taylor continues to shoot for mainstream status, his fanbase grows stronger. Taylor Bennett recently released his new mixtape, The Restoration of an American Idol. Come see Taylor Benett when he performs next month, sure to be a treat!
