Oakland’s Burger Boogaloo, hosted by Southern California label Burger Records, is back for its 5th year. Today they have announced the 2017 lineup. As always, it’s a great one with a mix of garage, punk, psych and indie acts. Iggy Pop, Buzzcocks, Red Kross, Guitar Wolf, Shannon & The Clams and many more lead the list. And of course, the legendary filmmaker and counter culture icon John Waters back to host the event for his third year.
Set to go down July 1st- 2nd, this one-day festival will be held at Mosswood Park north of Downtown Oakland. Burger Boogaloo will also be hosting after-parties the whole weekend, kicking off Friday June 30th at Eli’s Mile High Club. Tickets are available for these events for $5 at the door.
Last years lineup, included Traci Lords, Real kids, the Mummies, and more. So it is no surprised that this years festival has already dropped an impressive lineup! Tickets are available now! So get them before they’re gone. Two- day GA pass is $129 as well as VIP tickets for $199.
