Singer-songwriter John Mayer is making his way into the City when he visits this summer. He will be playing the Shoreline Ampitheatre this June. Mayer will be embarking on his 2017 world tour called Dead & Company Tour which is full of other amazing acts. He will be performing alongside Mickey Hart, Bill Kreutzmann, and Bob Weir.
Mayer has been in the music game for a while, going back to 1998. He has successfully captured he hearts and minds of fans everywhere in his 20 year tenure. His folksy-rock voice and guitar skills have allowed for him to keep up with the musical joneses so that even kids now, who were born when he started, still see him as relevant today. Most recently, Mayer released his The Search for Everything: Wave One EP this year in January. The hits from that release are Love On The Weekend, Moving On and Getting Over, and You’re Gonna Live Forever In Me. Right after that he dropped part two of that EP entitled The Search For Everything: Wave Two which has the popular songs Still Feel Like Your Man and Emoji of a Wave. Previous to that, Mayer’s last full studio release was 2013’s Paradise Valley, which was responsible for the hits Who You Love, Wildfire, and Paper Doll. Mayer has put out an impressive discography which is composed of five other full length albums and various singles and EPs. His most famous songs are Your Body Is a Wonderland, Gravity, Waiting On the World to Change, Say, Daughters, and Free Fallin’. Mayer’s songs have continued to garner hits and only making his stardom continue. John Mayer is entering his prime and his songs are only getting better as he does.
