The ska punk band is headed to the Electric Factory this year. Streetlight Manifesto is performing hit songs for their 10th- Anniversary tour. The last album Street Manifesto recorded was The Hands That Thieve, back in 2013. Most of the band is known for other acts.
Streetlight Manifesto first formed in New Brunswick, New Jersey in 2002. The band originally released multiple EPs before recording their first album, Everything Goes Numb. The band signed to Victory Records after the release of the album. In 2005, Streetlight Manifesto joined the Ska Is Dead 2 Tour, headlining with other bands like Voodoo Glow Skulls. Streetlight Manifesto headlined a tour in Europe in late 2005. In November 2007, Streetlight released their second album, Somewhere in Between, through Victory Records.
The band released their third album, The Hands That Thieve, after multiple delays. Victory Records music label withheld copies of the album. Streetlight Manifesto called for a boycott from their fans to not buy from the music labels website. After their End of The Beginning tour in 2013, Streetlight Manifesto announced a break from touring. Early 2016, Streetlight Manifesto came back into the light by announcing their 10th-anniversary tour with limited shows.
